Symptoms of a broken truck engine oil pump.

The truck’s oil pump is broken and it has these symptoms.
1. Weak acceleration and a sense of frustration when refueling.
2. It is not easy to start when starting, and it takes a long time to press the keys.
3. There is a buzzing sound while driving.
4. The engine fault light is on. Engine shakes.

Causes of oil pump damage:
1. When the oil quality is poor, the fuel tank will be filled with various impurities or foreign matter. Although the oil pump has a filter to filter gasoline, it can only block large particles of impurities. Small particles of impurities will be sucked into the oil pump motor, which will cause damage to the oil pump over time.
2. The gasoline filter has not been replaced for a long time, and the fuel supply system of the gasoline filter is seriously blocked, resulting in difficulty in pumping oil. Long-term load conditions cause damage to the gasoline pump.
According to different driving methods, gasoline pumps can be divided into mechanical diaphragm type and electric drive type.
1. Diaphragm type gasoline pump is the representative form of carburetor type engine. Its working principle is driven by the eccentric wheel on the camshaft. Its working principle is that during the rotation of the oil suction camshaft, when the swing arm at the top of the eccentric pulls down the pump diaphragm rod, the pump diaphragm drops, generating suction, and the gasoline is sucked out of the fuel tank, and then passes through the gasoline pipe, gasoline filter, The pump diaphragm rod and oil pumping device generate suction.
2. The electric gasoline pump is not driven by a camshaft, but relies on electromagnetic force to repeatedly suck the pump membrane.

How often should the pump be replaced:
There is no fixed replacement cycle for gasoline pumps. Generally, after a vehicle has traveled about 100,000 kilometers, the gasoline pump may become abnormal. However, the gasoline filter can be replaced at about 40,000 kilometers. When inspecting and maintaining a car oil pump, you need to go to a professional repair shop to avoid problems during the disassembly process, which may cause greater failure and unnecessary losses.
