Perfect construction of charging stations

With a view to investing in the market for charging stations, Denmark’s United Steamboat Ltd. plans to build a complete charging station at the Home Depot chain in Gothenburg, Switzerland, with a distribution capacity of 350 kilowatts.

“We are in the early stages of electric mobility and we are fully aware of the power distribution capacity of our charging stations.  ”Learning from Volvo Cars allows us to evaluate the battery capacity of our vehicles based on driving routes and transportation operations.”  Niklas Andersson, Executive Vice President and Logistics Director, United Steamboat Denmark Ltd.

The most comprehensive truck lineup in the industry

With the launch of Volvo FH, FM and FMX new heavy-duty electric trucks, Volvo Truck’s lineup of medium to heavy-duty trucks has now reached six types, the largest in the electric truck sector.

Roger Alm, president of Volvo Trucks, said: “With the introduction of these new electric trucks with higher load capacity and more power, we firmly believe that this is the perfect time to achieve rapid electrification of heavy trucks.”
